Sponsor Child Achievements
The Sponsor Child Programme has empowered many children to achieve remarkable milestones in education and personal growth. These children, supported through the programme, have excelled academically, participated in extracurricular activities, and even pursued higher education, all thanks to the resources and opportunities provided by their sponsors. Through a holistic approach, the programme nurtures their talents, builds their confidence, and helps break the cycle of poverty. GCSE and O-Level Results
Ocean Stars Trust sponsors over 130 children in Sri Lanka through our Sponsorship Programmes. Some of the students who have completed their sponsorship have gone on to become accountants, doctors, entrepreneurs, and teachers.
This week some of our current sponsor students will be starting their GCSE exams. We would like to wish them Good Luck and hope they achieve the results they want so they can proceed to A Levels. Stay calm and do your best students.
Sponsor Children Gathering
The Sponsor Children Gathering is a heartfelt event that brings together children from various communities, all of whom benefit from the generosity of sponsors. This gathering is an opportunity for these children to connect with their sponsors and experience a sense of belonging and empowerment. Support for Learning
Support for Learning is at the heart of the Ocean Stars Trust’s mission to ensure that every child has access to quality education, regardless of their background. Through a variety of initiatives, we offer both direct and indirect support to children, teachers, and families to ensure that learning is accessible and impactful. This includes providing learning materials, setting up preschool environments that stimulate curiosity and development, and offering teacher training to improve the quality of education. Additionally, we assist families in navigating the educational system, ensuring that children can attend school regularly and overcome barriers to education such as transportation or financial constraints. Our work also extends to supporting the mental and emotional well-being of students by offering counseling and creating safe spaces where children can thrive. By supporting children in every aspect of their learning journey, we help to foster a sense of hope and opportunity that lasts a lifetime. Through these efforts, we aim to break the cycle of poverty and empower future generations to become successful, confident learners and leaders in their communities.
